Through God's guidance the Autumn Spiritual & Evangelical Convocation in Hong Kong church ran very smoothly
on the 18th - 22nd October. Preacher Lai was invited from Taiwan to assist in conducting the event. Spiritual
Convocation evening services started from Wednesday evening through to Saturday evening. Some of the topics
of the sermons included: -
Worship the most High God God sent the Lord Jesus The Holy Spirit of Truth The Gospel of Salvation
Truthseekers were warmly welcomed to the Evangelical services on Friday and Saturday evenings,
where Hong Kong choir sang to praise God and everyone was invited to pray for the Holy Spirit
after the sermons. Throughout the event you could see God's work at hand, over 13 members and truthseekers
received the Holy Spirit. Although the chapel was overflowing with people and became quite warm,
many were enthusiastic to learn more about God's words and were persistent to pray for the Holy Spirit.
On Sunday, at 7.30am we went to Deep Water Bay for the baptism. Truthseekers with their family members arrived in church,
choir members and God's workers excitedly prepared for the event. Thank God it was a beautiful day and 10 newly baptised members were added to the family of God.
After footwashing, members were reminded of Jesus Christ's death and love through the Holy Communion service.
To finish off the day, members were invited to partake in a team building event - general cleaning!
